Hi All, I’ve downloaded 0.4.2.1 and encountered a few problems
- installer didn’t work (said game didn’t exists). This was ok. I installed the files manually.
- quite a few courses are missing. They show up in game but can’t be loaded. I’ve looked in the folder and it only had a few json files. I assume this is the problem? I don’t know much about how the courses work.
- biggest problems that I don’t know where to begin to fix is the head unit (speed, distance etc) is obscured by a weird graphical glitch that looks like its taking taking the colours of the character jersey and stretching them across to where the head unit should be. Strangely this disappears when I press F4 and have that menu open. It reappears when I close it though. I’ve messed around with in game graphics settings but nothing helps. The game runs fine. I have a gtx 1650 so it’s more than capable.
Any one come across these issues before? The graphical glitch is the one I really need help with. The other two were more of an FYI
Just thought I'd update my issue where it seemed liked my trainer (Kickr core) wasn't being sent resistance data. I turned off all bluetooth devices around it and it worked fine. I need to play around a bit more to check this really was the issue. I have been using a bluetooth controller to steer so would like to be able to add that back in. I will update if I discover more.
@Makinolo 99% sure unless there is something running on my phone which might be doing something. I'll try again with my phone Bluetooth off just to make sure. Other than that there's nothing in the room which could be affecting it
@T IKD ZWC I have a similar problem, my trainer either has resistance set high and I have to push 250W to go anywhere, or it's set low and even 20% hills are very easy. In both cases it seems like incline is not being passed to the trainer (Kickr core in my case) and my speed doesn't change based on terrain. I've not been able to figure out what is going wrong, but I have had on 1 occasion (out of about 6 rides) where it did all seem to work and I could feel hills, but the game crashed after 10 minutes.
