Mack Defense 4x4 light armored exploration vehicle, Sherpa Scout belonging to the Special Operations Unit (UNOPES) of the Mexican Navy. 1720 machine.
American-made they were acquired in 2016, we still do not know the number of them. This unit is seen armed with an FN HERSTAL M2HB-QCB (Heavy Barrel-Quick Change Barrel) heavy machine gun. In 2011, at least one unit was seen operating with the colors of the Mexican Navy of a Renault Trucks Defense, Sherpa Light Scout, apparently sent by the manufacturer as a test, with a view to evaluating its possible acquisition, a situation that as far as we know It didn't happen at the time. The one in the image is the same model as the French one, but marketed by the American manufacturer.
