@ScottFoxx Nope. I am still in the process of making my mod pack so I haven't been able to test it myself yet. But no one has officially answered my question either.

@HarleyQuinnSquad It most likely will work with any modded characters, as long as the author added the ability of lip movements to the ped. Some of the character mods you'll see on here state "no lip movement", etc.

I've been trying to make this work for a while. I've now got it to work!
You have to create a folder called /scripts in your main game folder and drop the .dll and .ini file into it.
However, I did note that it doesn't seem to work in sync with a mic. It literally just makes the character do a speech animation (on button press), which isn't quite what I was wanting, but I can live with it.

I love Jedi Josh's mods. It's too bad he pretty much abandons them forever as soon as they're released.

@chrisnovxxx have you tried tested on modded character because i have been trying to figure out how to make modded character lip move but still no answer

@Ocramium can be but if you have an animation running and wanting the actors mouth to move using this will override the animation. So the mouth will move but the animation no longer plays while the lip is moving.

latest patch july 2024 just caused mines to stop working finally. I'm disappointed af.

@GoldMiner it didn't fix my lip movement mod but it did fix all the crashing finally
