Anyone who knows a good mod to supplement consistent feeling heavy trucks? (Issue is with 5 star chases police trucks act as walls and I'm too lazy to tweak the handling on my own :D)
Dear Killatomate, extremely grateful for all the work and effort you put into this.
Big thanks! Great mod and works pretty well together with FTFR.
One suggestion would be to also require a reporting for assaulting police and soldiers, those currently yield three stars immediately upon committing the crime.
Everyone who rated this at less than 5 stars failed their driving examination at the 10th attempt, seriously. You continue to update one of the greatest mods ever created for GTA V, thank you so much!
@Ronderik Thank you, but unfortunately this doesn't solve the problem. Using that file will strangely lead to the already mentioned memory crash shortly after the game has loaded :(
Using the originally supplied (by RDE) file will lead to the instant crash on the 2nd loading screen. So both don't work in the end.
@DannyBonudouchie Same problem here. Unfortunately, this mod seems to be incompatible with the newer version 3.01. If you use 3.0 (and find a download link to it...) there are no problems at all, so the trouble is very likely to be caused by RDE 3.01.
@TheSigui Thanks for the kind answer, but Killatomates handling is so outstandingly good that I won't ever wanna change it I guess ;) I've tried your preferred mod and some other similiar ones, but unfortunately none of them contains that level of detail (this is of course a matter of preference).
I'll try and do some copy paste of the files (when I find time) and see which one causes the problem. Best guess is the gameconfig, as the game works properly for some time with the alternative file from above, but crashes as well then... :(
...is the old version (3.0) downloadable somewhere...? Guess I've deleted (overwritten) mine unintentionally :O
Someone there with a better AI fix...? Cars seem to be crashing a lot unfortunately. I had a slightly modified "Insanely Bad Drivers" by "fortinwithwill" installed before using this co-delivered (am I right...?) AI mod, but SUV's still keep on crashing into cars when breaking while going downhill.
Any solutions anyone...? Thanks!
Hey guys, version 3.01 seems to be 100% incompatible to Killatomate's "Realistic Handling 2.0" mod, whilst the former version 3.0 worked perfectly in my game. Game crashes on 2nd loading screen.
This is quite disappointing, as GTA's stock handling is a total catastrophe and so very demotivating to play...
Please note: I've got an unpirated original copy of the game (retail version) that is up-to-date (v944.2).
