Any chance you'd be willing to pick up Realistic Driving and update it since you're doing handling mods? The original dev has abandoned it due to being busy IRL but I think he still occasionally checks in. It's done all the way to After Hours, so you wouldn't have too many vehicles to do.
@christ I don't know, mate, it worked fine for me. Just used the D-Pad to initiate the robberies. You should get a message at the top left corner telling you what to press.
The mod seems to be functioning fine, but the way that it edits the map leads to a ton of instability, so the game just ends up crashing constantly. Removing this mod fixes my instability. Maybe after a few more iterations and some polish this will be fully-functioning. Keep up the good work.
Could a mod please clean up this comment section so that it just contains stuff relevant to the file and not two children bickering? Trying to find information on some instability that I'm experiencing but all that crap is in the way.
Is there a readme with an explanation of how exactly the new mechanics work? I'm trying to get 6 stars, but no matter how many helicopters I shoot out of the sky I still don't get the military sent at me.
Yo, Jridah, thanks for all the sweet weapons. If you make any more soon, you think you could add the Magpul Masada? I'd love to see some more ARs in GTA.
@ShadowsFate No mods can be used online, nor can you play online with a game that modifies single player elements as GTA:O and SP use a lot of the same resources so your SP mods will be detected as cheating in GTA:O. There may be some kind of workaround in the future but there is not one yet.
@xXSMzXx No, there aren't any on the streets, but I figured they could be added to the popcycle since they are in missions. And I second what Tony Soprano says.
@jutajata I am also using the Crime and Police Rebalance mod, which doesn't touch the popcycle file at all, so some other mod must be causing it.
I like this mod a lot, but I feel like it's missing an important element: higher-level organized crime like the Mafia and the Triads. They would be present in the more high-class areas of LS, the Airport for the Mafia maybe, and the Docks for the Triads. To make up for their smaller amount of territory and manpower they would have access to far more advanced weaponry.
