is that Eminem on the last pic?
@HRH it's a custom map that only reflect a white... thing, idk how to explain it lol
the paint like everything else should have a good specmap, when i said i have some trouble making proper sahders is more to find what shaders does the closest effect of what would do a real counterpart
Anyway, if you want some more information or anything don't hesitate to pm me here, you can also try the car to see if you find something weird on your side and give me a return, i'll take any suggestion :>
@HRH it's just about some effects that i can't recreate properly, having patterns for example for metal, cloths, chrome, shiny plastic or even more would be perfect, but that doesn't exist : /
what you call "a mess" is just the fact that i don't know how to properly make them depending what is needed on what part, and there's no real tutorial about that
@OdinPagan like i said to slayzer, i didn't add it on purpose because i didn't want them, but it is possible
had to correct the rear signs for the v1.01, they were not chromed
@SLY95ZER i did not add any plate on purpose, when you drift on a circuit for example you're not supposed to have one
for the glossy texture i guess you talk about the shining plastic around the windows? when i was searching for a way to make a half matte plastic with a little reflection that isn't grey-ish this is the only setup that looks like having a little shine. when you look at that pic for example https://otto-models.com/7043-thickbox_default/nissan-silvia-specr-aero-s15.jpg you see that the plastic isn't just matte, at the moment i got no way to make it look better (or if you want on my game, everything else looks bad as i'm not using any graphic mod)
@OdinPagan i'll say that a mod is never finished, this one was a lot more worked on the model than on the convert itself, there are many things that have a weird looking texture or effect, but at the moment i got no way to find how wto recreate what it should exactly look (shaders are complicate to be made perfectly)
It doesn't mean i won't work on it, but overhaul it is far enough for my standards, having an ok look outside is all i wanted
If i find how to make the proper shaders for every parts i'll update it.
@OdinPagan on the car folder, should be on dlc.rpf > x64 > vehicles.rpf > car_name.ytd
@KlutchDecals if you're brave enough you can try to take the body texture on the ytd and draw lines to represent every parts of the car, otherwise I have no clue how I can make a usable template from the shader only without removing the actual mapping (aka liveries) on the car...
@Kyinxa fix the handling...?
What do you mean? if you want to replace a car just go to the car handling location and replace the line you want for the car you use
