✅ FIX FOR LOADING SCREEN CRASH

If your game crashes while loading after installing this mod, the solution is very simple:

👉 Install the latest fixed gameconfig.xml

✔ How I fixed the crash:

1. Installed this mod: Independence Day Movie Mod – Alien Invasion and Aerial Battle 1.1

2. Downloaded the updated gameconfig.xml from the link above

3. Replace the mod’s gameconfig with the new one to here:

mods/update/update.rpf/common/data/

4. Launch the game. And it should be working perfectly now.

5. Also backup your old mods before installing.

@BANDAI333333 I’m facing the same issue with the mod. The game crashes right at startup even after installing all the required plugins.

However, if I remove the gameconfig.xml from the mod and put's original gameconfig.xml file, the game loads normally — but then the mod doesn’t work. So it looks like the gameconfig.xml included in the mod is causing the crash.
