Honestly going to say this is the best-looking mod to come out of the Bleep team. Couldn't see something to fault if tried.

    - Nice setup.
    - Good looking, high-quality skin.
    - Lifelike materials and textures. Meaning you can see the depth to the plastic and it isn't just a black void, like some other versions.

Good job, keep up this level of quality.

@Commanded_Urchin Could you edit your rating then please.

@Commanded_Urchin Well no one else has reported the same issue and this model has had over 3K downloads in total. So you clearly haven't done something right, and so that's a pretty stupid reason to knock stars off your rating...

@qwertyTech Thanks, may I ask why you always leave half a star off? Like what can I do to get a 5-star rating from you?

Please note this model only features a basic interior, I am not focusing on fully functional interiors at the moment, this may be revisited in the future. I'd be grateful if any ratings take this into account.

    Thanks, and enjoy!

@qwertyTech Traffic were the only ones to test it, yes, but it was only given to the Met for a week and I also think firearms didn't test it for operational reasons. Demo cars lack a lot of the core bits of kit that make up a police car.

@qwertyTech There is a marked Met Police BMW X5 40e somewhere. The 'e' meaning it's a hybrid. Otherwise, the Met tested the Jaguar F-Pace which is cheaper than an X5 and has a number of petrol engines. Jankels may not get replaced but I'm sure there are a number of other options they could use for them.

@qwertyTech Well, we don't even know for sure if it will be an area car yet. The car would appear to have been given by Volkswagen and then the Met has just had their livery added. But from the engine size and power output, it would appear to be suited for the area car role. As for the lifespan, all of the Met's fleet is leased from Babcock (LFB and LAS also have contracts with Babcock now, which is part of the reason all the LFB's fleet is rumoured to be replaced within the next few years). Babcock gets paid a chunk of money to provide the cars and maintain them. So because of this and since cars naturally loose value the older they get but also become more expensive to maintain they are sold on at a higher price (because they are newer) and replaced with a new car that is cheaper to maintain. At the end of the day, Babcock is a business and it is in their best interest to maximise profits. Also, bear in mind London is getting some very strict rules on emissions coming into place in the next few years and so the Met is looking to replace every vehicle that doesn't fit within these rules, this basically means 90%+ of their fleet needs to be replaced as they are diesel. This is the reason the newer Ford Focus and BMW 2 series IRVs are both petrol and why hybrid / electric cars are being tested for every role within the Met.
