bad description here and needs to be updated! copy files to (root GTAV install)\scripts folder then F9 will begin working.
it works with mods. i have gtav installed on 3 machines on my LAN, all have identical mods (vehicles/trainers) and they all work. if you want to run a server, make sure the port it uses (eg UDP 4499) is open in your firewall, and also port forward that port to the machine running the server. i run gtaserver.core.exe as administrator.
to connect to the server when running gtav on the same machine, the server ip should be 127.0.0.1 (in F9)
to connect to the server from other machines in your LAN, run ipconfig to determine your local ip and use that (in F9). to connect to the server from other machine on WAN, use "whatismyipaddress" site to determine your WAN ip and use that (in F9).
