VERSION 1.2 IS NOW A THING!!!
The police cruiser as it appeared in the trailers/screenshots before it was changed to what it looks like today unless you've already downloaded and installed it. I am NOT talking about the 1st gen GTA IV model but about the 2nd gen used in the final game.
This car will be replacing the original police car!

Installation:
- Open OpenIV or any other program that works fine too.
- Make your way to your mods and open up x64e.rpf folder or x64e.rpf in the main directory (I recommend creating a mods folder)
- Go to levels\gta5\vehicles.rpf and press add. This way the models will automaticly replace the original police vehicle.
- Close OpenIV or any other program you were using and open up GTA V to enjoy.

Orange headlights were Red
There was no Vapid badge afaik
and seems like at the back there were no "911" blablabla decals
Badge was there, you can see it if you look VERY closely. Decals I will check on. Headlights, you got it. Again thanks for letting me know.
And the light was there btw, although it's flipped down right now, if you again look very closely in the screenshot I used and the one TheF3nt0n posted, you can see one.

@HeySlickThatsMe That's an entire different vehicle model, it's the standard Vapid Stanier 1st gen. I am planning to do that one too sometime. Maverick also is planned including the police badges. SORRY THAT IT TOOK SO LONG TO UPDATE, BUT HEY! HERE I AM!! New version coming today. Changes: Red indicators instead of orange, removed decals and removed spot. Any bugs may be reported as soon as possible.

Hey Im loving these beta vehicle mods! Good job! I have an issue though. I installed this mod, but when I went to check it out in game, the police car still had the flat LED lightbar on top? How do i fix this? It should be the big old school light bar like in the pictures you posted. Please help! Thank you!
@TrustNo1 To start off, I am very sorry for being 1 month and a few days late! Yes the lightbar should but I haven't been able to remove it yet as my license of zmodeler 3 expired once again... I know there's free zmodelers out there, but I like legal and official working programs... I am working on a beta mod for IV so it may take some time to get updated anyways.
Beautiful car, but the problem is I never see the LSPD using it. They only use the "Police Cruiser (3)" aka the dodger... :(
