Have you ever wanted to not have the turbo dump valve and waste gate sounds on, say, ANY of the muscle cars in the game? This file removes it.
Simply drag the "vehicles.awc" file into the following path:
mods>x64>audio>sfx>RESIDENT.rpf
That's it! Now you won't have anymore turbo noise aside from the very faint whine when accelerating!

Please note that currently, this mod will only work on base game engine noises! DLC cars seem to have their own turbo noises and therefor aren't effected by this.
if you want to change this on any car, you need to find it's vehicles.meta data and change the entry for <audioHashName> and choose an engine noise from a vanilla vehicle. This also applies if you're using a engine noise replacement because the Turbo modification will still call the data of whatever car is in the <audioHashName> entry.
Most likely I will fix this it will just take time to weed out every DLC car in each pack that has a turbo noise.
Why would you want the turbo sound to be gone?!

Nice work. This is quite a dumb move to rate this file zero stars, just because you don't get the appeal of the mod @TheRealNik , This'll fix the rating a little.

@FloatStreak Thanks and I really made it to get rid of the whine on muscle cars, both vanilla, and modded. (Mustang with the vanilla turbo noise doesn't sound great lol)

dont understand why someone would ever remove that fascinating sound... but at least this thing works
@Wargamerstev63 Thanks for making this! I was getting ready to do it myself but you saved me the trouble! Now if only we could find and modify the sound of the turbo itself so it sounds more like a supercharger instead of a turbo!
