Realistic Ballistics ver 1.0
now all normal peds die when you shoot them 1-2 times in the chest with a 9mm bullet and once with 5.56 and 7.62 . Adds more realistic ballistics. nerve gas actually kills now and deagle is pretty much a one shot (like in real life).Military , swat ,and merryweather now are all equipped with armor and require more shots to kill than police without armor. if you would like to add more realism to the game add this mod that reduced health to realistic levels https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/realistic-health-hardcore .

--Cops with body armor now take 2-3 shots of 5.56 to the chest and 1-2 9mm
---Military, marryweather and swat now take 3-5 shots with 5.56 to the chest and 4-6 shots with 9mm and 1 shot with 7.62 (rarely two)
-Civilians are always instant knockout and die with one or two 9mm to the chest

--How to install:
1. Extract the archive.
2. Run OpenIV and open common.rpf
3. Open the "data" folder.
4. Right-click on the pedhealth.meta file and select "replace".
5. Choose the extracted file.

Hey, does this make you a 2 shot kill as well, because i am looking for a mod that makes my character 1-3 shots to die, to have more realism playing LSPDFR.
This isn't realistic, do you even know how guns work? Nobody dies instantly after one little hit to the chest in real life.
@NagARam it seems you are the dumb one here. with the right placement you can kill a person instantly with a correct placed shot to the chest. you may know how guns work but you obviously dont know how the body works.
@kwebber321 What? You watch too much Hollywood. That's ridiculous, nobody can instantly die from a bullet that isn't in the center of their brain.
Almost all gunshot deaths are caused by blood loss, this is true, research it. A shot to the chest can kill, but not immediately, you would need to bleed out from your chest first. But since it takes a long while to bleed out, you can use that time to fight back or run away to avoid further injuries.
You would need several shots to drop a person (that won't necessarily kill him), although it does depend on a lot of factors like stopping power, bullet trajectory, etc.
Heck, there have been situations where headshots didn't stop someone from getting up and fighting back (this is why police still cuff people they shoot down).
Clearly, you don't know how the body reacts to injury and stressful situations. I suggest going to /r/watchpeopledie or watch whatever Zippo Raid watches to improve his violence mod. You would be surprised that humans are very resilient.

@kwebber321 Chest is not heart, dumbass and of course if you get shot in the heart you dont die instantly, it takes like 5-6 seconds to you to be death or more, exept for headshots

Great simple mod that remains compatible with many other great mods.
When i launch the game, my health bar appears gray'd out (can't see health) solves when i switch characters, is there a fix for this other than keep switching characters ? cuz i plan on replaying the story and as all know, at the beginning you only get franklin so can't change characters

Unfortuanately headshots count as limbs in this mod so NPCs can survive multiple headshots
I was wondering if it's possible to randomize shots a ped can take before going out because adrenaline irl can make you pretty buff
