Recommended game version 1.0.678.1 or higher.
This mod provides cool but playable cars collisions.
Advantages over other same mods:
- More focused on crashing and breaking off parts/wheels, makes look of real life wreck.
- Balanced collision rate, no insane deformations which makes car unplayable after first hit (really annoying in other same mods) but better than default.
Technical advantages:
- Includes vehicles from all DLCs in one file! You don't need to copy or modify big DLC archives, only update.rpf.

Installation:
Using OpenIV.
Always make a backup or use mods folder!
Replace handling.meta in [GTA5 FOLDER]\(mods\)update\update.rpf\common\data folder.

Alternative installation, if you don't want to lose handling.meta mods (like "Real Handling"):
1. Download Wrecker Cars Patcher (virustotal).
2. Put your handling.meta (from another mod) in directory with program.
3. Run patcher, it will create "patched" folder with patched handling.meta
Tip: edited vehicles count depends on another mod's file, only vehicles which this file is contains will be patched.

Mod&Patcher v1.1:
- Excluded all aircrafts and boats because collisions acting weird with it
- Excluded bikes, no visible changes with mod
- Engines durability increased

- Added some forgotten DLC vehicles

- Unused data removed
Mod v1.2 fixed:
- No more gameconfig.xml needed (tested on 1.0.678.1 game ver.)
Mod v1.3:
- Added vehicles from all latest DLCs up to "Adventures in Finance and Felony"

Love this mod. In my opinion on of the most immersive ones. Can you update it for the latest R* patch? :-)
@Minimum_Capacity mod doesn't work with latest patch?
@Hanabishi It feels like some of the new cars don't get damaged as much as the older ones when crashing.

@Hanabishi Its good but just one buggy thing so far. The parts that break off disappear within a minute. So, if u can increase time of those parts somehow ?

@Hanabishi Actually you can disable or reduce explosions on vehicles: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UrpNdK6dbHI btw, it would also look way cooler if combined with this handling mod, which has better deformation. https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/better-deformation-more-durable-cars If you combined those, you'd have gold. (Both are handling mods). But so far, this is the only mod that sends parts everywhere.
@nathanjamesddg151 this will reduce damage from all sources: bullets, explosives etc. It makes cars almost immortal. Do people wanna immortal enemy vehicles in the missions? I don't think so.
And there is no way to separate damage kinds in handling.meta.
@Hanabishi I've only noticed that with the Rhino. Still pretty easy to blow everything else up.
