Description
This modification enhances keyboard and mouse driving in Grand Theft Auto V, by smoothing out throttle, brake and steering, providing a cruise control feature with auto-follow, and other miscellaneous improvements such as engine control, fueling, etc. Aggressive driving is still possible, either by double tapping W/S, or enabling race mode (detailed user guide included in download).
Important
This mod is known to be incompatible with ikt's Manual Transmission, and Custom Gear Ratios. It may also be incompatible with other similar driving mods.

Installation
1. Ensure you have the following installed:
- ASI Loader (OpenIV > Tools > ASI Manager)
- ScriptHookV (latest version)
- ScriptHookV .NET (latest version)
2. Navigate to the Grand Theft Auto V main directory.
3. Go to the Scripts folder (part of ScriptHookV .NET, if such folder does not exist, create it).
4. Unpack the archive that was downloaded into the Scripts folder (SmoothDrivingV.dll and the SmoothDrivingV folder should be alongside one-another inside the Scripts folder).

I guess after 2944 it's either latest NVE or Smooth driving, can't have both
Fkn nice Mod, it works well, still not finished, but its very good for its value. My Game crashes after about 5 to ten minutes randomly, even at places where are no bycicles are available, i dont know if i can send you some report or anything to help you with the solution, but without your mod there is a big lack in qualitiy of driving. Im paitiently waiting for an update and I would be glad if i could help you with something.

I really like this mod but when you reverse the game crashes like everytime
It was working a week ago but I entered the game today and it's gone I tried installing it again but it's not working can somone help
so the smooth acceleration doesnt work the cars just wheel spin soon aas you press W with heavy steering the acceleration is just unbearable any ideas on how to fix ?
The game crashes when you put it in reverse and press W. However, if we press S, it does not crash. Please update it.
@ch1M there has been a problem with ScriptHookDotNet since the December 2022 update. No one has fixed it yet and doesn't look like someone will in the future, lot of mods are broken.
