A simple GTA V Handling Editor.
Simple table based UI, simple controls, made to get the editing done in a simple and easy manner.
Main features:
- Simple controls
- Change a value for all cars at once
- Change value by a percentage of itself (for all cars at once if desired)
- Set colors of UI as you please.
UPDATE 1.7:
- Updated executable file name to no longer say version 1.5.
- Updated handling.meta information URL to no longer take you to a dead page.
UPDATE 1.6:
- Fixed 1.5, All cars no longer take the values of the AIRTUG
UPDATE 1.5:
- Loading and building the meta file no longer makes the program hang.
- Added some information enabling the user to see what is being read during load.
UPDATE:
- Now with a color selector to change the table to your preference!
- Fix for decimal points not reading in correctly - only one known case to start with but fixed either way.

@FattyJoeMan hey man, really handy tool. i was wondering if its possible to add an option to select which groups take an overall change. For instance, id like to only change traction in super class and leave the truck class alone. Would that be something you could add when you get time? thanks again for the tool.
Every time I use this to edit a handling file, it removes about 130kb and the resulting handling.meta crashes the game on start.
The 130kb is some comments that were at the top, and a whole lot of zeroes and spaces. However, after intently comparing the files before and after, I can't find any difference that could possibly explain it crashing the game. Yet it's very consistent - the same handling file will work, until I rebuild it with this editor, and then it crashes the game.
Okay, there were some inline comments a modder had left in this handling.meta, and this editor somehow moved them to inside of the quotes for various values, breaking everything.
@FattyJoeMan this tool is awesome, being able to multiply all values is amazing, HOWEVER the one thing I really want to edit (<vecInertiaMultiplier x="1.0" y="1.2" z="1.4" />) is not editable in your program, and there seems to be no way to do a mass multiplication like that in any other program (plugins for Notepad++ don't work anymore)
Could you add the ability to edit/scale those values?

@FattyJoeMan I can only download the older 1.5 version from this site, and as 1.6 fix says in it's description, version 1.5 really messes all cars' values with AIRTUG's data. Download link of 1.6 downloads older version.

For me only the first version, the one from 2015 works. The 2 other ones are actually both 1.5, and they just don't save any file and don't edit any already existing file after rebuilding.
@FattyJoeMan I can also confirm that:
1. Current version (1.6) is actually named version 1.5, although comparing to older 1.5 has different timestamps and hashes.
2. Latest version (3e3392-GTAV Handling Editor 1.5) is broken.
3. Oldest version seems to be working good and should be used to edit handling.
Seems like whenever I try to use this it makes the handling.meta crash the game
1.5 1.6 1.7 can't save the file handle.meta run as administrator not work
this editor doesen't work it corrupts the file when it rebuilds it at least with latest version.
I've tried 1.7, won't export. Tried 1.6, I only changed 1 value, but exported file changed many value.
anyone know how i can change a addon cars handling to be the same as a car thats already in game, i been trying to edit handling file for addon car but it says unknown error when i rebuild and if i edit it manually it crashes?
@FattyJoeMan Hey I found the problem with the newest version that everyone is complaining about.
Every car is getting the same numbers as the Airtug starting from fLowSpeedTractionLossMult.
The Airtug has the fPetrolTankVolume and fOilVolume set to 0, and that's why the cars don't start.
Whenever I step out of the gas pedal, my car decelerates too fast. Does anyone know what item I should edit handling.meta in order to keep going for longer when I take my foot out of the accelerator? Thanks!
@Nathan Auckett please can you help, my car mod front end lifts up when I brake instead of going down can you tell what line I have to edit please also what line is it to make the brakes sharper.
Can someone help please, can anyone tell me what line in the handling file makes the brakes better please, and also what makes the front of the car lift when I brake and how can I stop it, please.
@FattyJoeMan its not compiling properly. I tried changing the values for the main character cars using this and I found out you can't start certain cars. The player sits in it and keeps on trying to start the ignition, but it never starts. Be it spawned by mod or taken from NPCs.
Canis Mesa, Albany Emperor, Dundeary Regina are the examples.
I did the same thing using notepad++ and there is no such glitch. It'll be swell if you were able to fix that thanks.
