Also, it would be useful to have a button to "clean" your game folder, removing any symlinks and mod files, because they stay active even after leaving the game, and you have to start the gama again to "refresh" them.

@MrFredo18 i stopped modding 2 years ago, i have absolutely no idea of anything now.

Someone know if it is possible to use Mod Manager for Add-ons cars? I mean cars that doesn't replace existing in game cars and you have to add the folder of the car, the dlc.rpf file and add the entry for the car into dlclist.xml. Mod Manager can add and modify this files for single player and change it again for online?

I downloaded this because I didn't want to keep copy and pasting texts into DLC all the time, waste of time this mod is crap not really a time saver, plus the tutorial for setting up this mod is more complicated than manually installing them.

Is anyone else unable to open .rpf's outside of the main GTA V folder after the recent update to OpenIV? The one I have copied to a folder outside of my GTA folder work fine in game but I am unable to edit them with OpenIV, even if they are unaltered. As soon as I move an unaltered .rpf to a different folder it says "unable to open archive: access denied or file in use with another program". I don't have GTA running in the background so I don't know how it could be in use with another program.

Please ignore comment above! I forgot that I moved my files to the Programs folder which need administrator permissions!

I am a user of this manger since the very beginning, and went through all the drawbacks comming with that manager.
But here some serious stuff.
The manger was running .
I have unchecked all my installed mods.
I installed a new mod (dismemberment and gore)
I place the modded rpf in my modsfolder.
Started the game and it started downloading 50 gigabytes of data.
I had a backup so no problem.
I replaced the corrupted gtav folder and started the game from gtav launcher , the modmanger not opened.
The game runs fine.
I stared the game with all mods disabled from modmanger
and the game started downloading again 50 gigs because of corrupted gamedata.
Replace the gtav again with my backup. All running fine.
So finally i found the problem the common.rpf get deleted as soon as the modmanger starts the game. Although no mods where checked and nothing had been in the gtav root execept the original files.
So i checked all my unchecked mods and found one mod that has a common.rpf . So i went ahead deleting that mod completely .
This did the trick and the modmanger does not delte the original common.rpf.
I guess thats a big bug!!!
So from now on just make sure to delete your gtav modfolder completely,, it is not enough only to uncheck the mods. ( u can keep asi lua mods.

Not sure if I missed something but I can't use any of the mods that require you to put something in a "scripts" folder. for example "Sitting Mod" or " Ingame Screenshot 1.1" for example. Ive already looked at the GTAV Mod Manager Tutorial Part 2 which says that the scripts folder is no longer necessary for this manager and you just put every mod in it's own separate sub folder and the mods should work.

Everything else like running trainers and using modified RPF files works just fine. I'll keep looking into it and see if I can solve my own problem but if anyone can give me a tip that would be cool. I apologize ahead of time if I missed something obvious because I'm only getting back into GTA V modding for the first time after three years and interestingly enough I remember having no problems using scripts in the passed for mods like Air Fleet which were some of my first mods for this game.

Either way great job with this mod manager and it works perfectly I probably just missed something.

Just figured out my problem. All I needed too do was create a "scripts" folder inside of my OpenIV file which is inside this mod manager.
Now that this is fixed this manager is officially perfect again.

Great mod, Bilago. Makes modding GTA5 a lot easier.

I do however have one minor problem. It seems that I can't get the game to accept .ini file changes. I have three mods which want to use the 'J' key to activate something. I have changed two of them to different keys, but they still activate on the J key. I've tried both the mod managers inbuilt config editor and the actual .ini files in the mods folder. Both still show the new keys, but the game doesn't seem to agree.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Other than this issue the mod manager is awesome. I'd just hate to have to choose just one of these mods.
