The map is shifted too far to the east. Your location on the map will display, however, it will not line up with your actual location on the minimap and will show you further west than you actually are. This has been mentioned in another comment, but was never acknowledged. Some advice would be helpful.
I understand the frustration out there. I'm personally beyond fed up with all these updates that break the mods...constantly. I only play Single Player mode from time to time to fiddle around in a modded sandbox. I had to revert to an older version and use the Launcher bypass to avoid the update. Despite having a legit paid copy of this game, all these updates are forcing me to get a cracked copy that never updates and be done with it. The game is 4 years old, I just wish R* would accept the fact that players will want to use mods and embrace the creativity of some of the excellent contributions modders have made to keep the game's interest going. Online isn't the end all be all for many of us.
@Luca1888 I am as well. Brand new install. When I load the asi loaders, it stalls on the loading screen continuously. Others have reported it not working either. These updates are so damn annoying! Cheers.
@mixtro Hey Mixtro, thanks for the reply. You're correct. It isn't difficult at all. I was just curious why the extra steps. Like I said, no big deal. :) I've already installed it. Have a Merry Christmas!
@mixtro what happens if I don't install Map Builder? I've already got a modified objects.ini and many mods in dlclist.xml. I mean, it's not a huge deal but why can't I just drop the mod script in the scripts folder like Procopio?
@mixtro Thanks. Indeed. Just so you know, as soon as you add a model as a DLC add-on, it goes back to producing errors. However, NO errors are shown if it's just the publishers's models used.:)
