@nanaoa @nanaoa It's always a good idea to have both ScriptHookV (for the latest version of gta5) and ScriptHookV.NET installed together at all times. ScriptHookV.NET is equally important as the main ScriptHookV because ScriptHookV.NET is another ASI plugin which allows running scripts written in .NET language. Some people don't know that some mods run under the .NET language and just have the main ScriptHookV installed and not ScriptHookV.NET and that sometimes causes problems with some mods, including some older trainer menus as well. If you don't have ScriptHookV.NET download and install the latest version from here > https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/scripthookv-net. Once you download ScriptHookV.NET make sure all three files (ScriptHookVDotNet2.asi, ScriptHookVDotNet2.dll and ScriptHookVDotNet2.xml) are installed in the main directory where you have the main ScriptHookV.dll file installed. After you do that, launch the game and see if "Native Trainer" menu pops up by pressing F4 or F5. I don't have Native Trainer myself because to me that's just an old trainer, I use "Simple Trainer" which is better. If you do have all ScriptHookVDotNet files already installed and Native Trainer menu still doesn't pop up there are other options I can give you but, try installing all those ScriptHookVDotNet files first and see what happens.
@jedijosh920 I like this mod but, how can I use it using an actual controller like a Logitech controller, which is what I use to play gta5? How do I configure my gamepad to work with this mod and engage in converstaions with peds without having to use the keyboard? Is it possible to assign corresponding keys directly to my controller without using the keyboard? I don't like using or pressing any keys in the keyboard to activate any mods unless I have no choice. I prefer using my Logitech F310 Gamepad which I have connected to my PC, for all movements and activation of any mods I have installed and that's what I've always used to play gta5.
@UNKNOWNTEMPTATION If it's only ScriptHookV and Native Trainer that you have installed then you won't notice any difference in the game because ScriptHookV is not a mod, it's a "driver" of mods. It's the library that allows you to customize gta5 and allows you to run modified scripts (a.k.a "mods") as .asi plugins. You need to install the actual mods you're interested in. There're tons of mods you may like, from "Add-on" cars and peds to scripts that modify certain aspects of the game to maps, weapons etc..etc.....Browse what mods you would like to install and read the instructions on how to install them. Each mod has its own requirements, some mods require you to download and install other files while other mods are as simple as just installing them in the main directory or the 'scripts' folder. What all mods have in common is that all require ScriptHookV which you already have so all you gotta do now is browse the site and explore for mods you might like to add to your game. There're many different mods to chose from. As far as "Native Trainer" I belive you open the menu by pressing F4, I'm not 100% sure if it's F4 for Native Trainer because I don't use it, I use "Simple Trainer" which is better and have a lot more choices to chose from. Native Trainer is old and very basic with few choices that's why I don't use it.
@UndeadWarrior25 ScriptHookV periodically pops up a "Check for Updates" dialog even when there isn't an update to update to, it's programmed that way in the registry to do that like every few weeks or so and it does it more often specially when you add new mods to the game. If you want to stop it from prompting you to update you need to download this application and run it > https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/disable-scripthookv-1493-update-check. That will disable it but, you need to run the app again if Rockstar updates gta5 again with a new patch and you re-install scripthookv.
@UNKNOWNTEMPTATION Alexander Blade is not gonna help you.....I can help you but, you have to answer some questions for me first. First question, what types of mods you have installed? Let's begin you answering exactly what mods you have installed in your game and then I'll tell you what else you need to do.
@CaptConfuzed It depends on what type of text you want to replace. there are two types of texts when it comes to oiv xml files. A "reference" text is basically a personal description you type in to remind yourself of what any particular path does in the xml file but this type of text is only for self-informative purposes and it's non-executable text which can be simply changed opening the xml file with Notepad++ and finding the text you want to retype. The second type of text is an "executable" text, an "executable" text is a command text that executes a directive or gives intructions within the xml for when the oiv is installed. If it is an "executable" text you need to change you cannot change it opening the xml after the oiv has been created because it will mess up the oiv package and you will get an error when attempting to install. The xml is auto-generated after you create the oiv not the other way around so if it is an "executable" command you need to change you must change it while you're creating the oiv. This particular oiv package creator by Felix Bartling is very basic, I only use this one if I need to do a very simple oiv with very simple instructions with minimum content. The one I use more often for more complex instructions and extended content is the OpenIV Package Manger 1.0 from KR4N3N64. That one has added support for Text and XML command modifications. If you're interested on downloading that one here's the link > https://www.gta5-mods.com/tools/openiv-package-manager. Once you download that one you will need to recreate the oiv you did with this package creator from scratch because xml files created by one package creator are not compatible with each other. Then you have to make the the appropriate command text change as you're re-building your oiv package, however like I mentioned, if it is only a "reference" text you want to change then that's as simple as opening your current xml file with Notepad++ and changing the text. "Reference" text are usually enclosed within "quotes" in the xml file.
@Bletz Did you installed it manually or via oiv? I no longer recommend installing GTS manually because that's exactly the types of problems you will encounter if you install it manually. If you installed it using the oiv package and you still see atmospheric glitches like that then it may have to do with some graphics enhancing mod you probably have installed that's interfering with the mod.
@Jason696 A lot of the original modders that were involved in this project abandoned this mod a long time ago. Originally there were plans for a second upgraded version but, all that never got off the ground and everything went down the drains, everybody splitted and went their seperate ways. There is however a "fan base" enhancement mod for GTS that was done back in August 15, 2018 by MarcoSzwk and GTS Devs which enhances GTS in some ways but, that's just an enhancement mod and not necessarily an official upgrade of GTS but, it stills makes it better. This is the link to that mod if you want to download it: "Grand Theft Space GTS fan made Update! 1.1" > https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/gts-mars-terraformed-marcoszwk-gts-devs
