The handling is second to none, paired with Inverse Power for power sliding and all that fun stuff it really is the best feeling handling mod available IMO.

HOWEVER....

For some reason the author has chosen to go beyond the scope of a 'Handling Mod' and also adjusted the damage values by a massive amount. Deformation damage is fair enough but engine damage and collision damage is in some cases tripled so a couple of bad crashes or a pit by the cops and your car is toast, it's way over the top and extremely frustrating.

On top of this, it breaks single player missions where you have to chase cars/bikes because they end up failing the mission from getting destroyed, it's a mess if you want to play through the story so if that's your plan, I can't recommend DriveV.

@PermissionToLand Please for the love of God, release a version with JUST the handling changes and leave damage as is, or at least tone it down from what it is, by 2/3rds I'd say. It's been an absolute chore trying to pick mods for my Story Mode playthrough that doesn't break missions and DriveV is the last one causing me any issue so it's a real shame to have to remove it. I even looked at the MANY files with the intention of editing the damage back to default using a program like Winmerge and uploading it for others but the formatting has been completely borked so I can't quickly and easily edit individual values. So disappointing, I hope you'll take this (intentionally) constructive criticism and release just the handling changes.

This mod breaks the storymode mission where Trevor shoots from the watertower at the airstrip. After buying the gun and meeting back up with Ron at the watertower, once the transition to night occurs, Trevor T poses for a second and Ron doesn't move onto his quadbike making the mission hang. All missions leading up to this seem to work fine but after, I don't know yet. Be nice if you could fix this as it works well otherwise.
