Pro-tip: set time to 10 PM. That will show spot lights on the walls and such, and adds a beautiful, firey glow to the glass strairs-side.
@Lil Slim C "unless ... properly made in Map Editor" LOL. Thanks for the laugh. :) That comment clearly disqualified you from a serious discussion, though.
@JDeezNutz Definitely beautiful! Especially the main living room area (with the stairs and the glass side of the stairs).
Collision tends to be off a bit, at times (like trying to enter the bathroom and a few other areas), Also, mesh on ceiling/floor/door posts appears to have some odd blots/seams at places. So, a 2.0 version might be needed, at some point.
Overall, excellent map, of course. Definitely the direction I'd like to see modding go towards.
@tmax93 These look good. :) But they don't seem to come with a ytyp file.
@KSIolajideBT "you shouldn't be saving the game as another ped model"
My point exactly. :) If you completely replace Franklin, saving the game as 'Franklin' (aka, your new Vagos) may become problematic (as it assumes certain ped properties/clothes/etc, that your Vagos may nor possess).
@KSIolajideBT Looks a bit 'dangerous'. If you save a game as Franlin, while using another ped model, the game becomes confused, and often can't even load the last savegame any more. Caveat emptor.
@BigShaqNOKetchup "penetration of air particles in the house."
That's another advantage of making it a MLO: if you turn it all into a MILO, it won't rain and such inside your build either. :)
@BigShaqNOKetchup " I did not add LMO, it must have been an admin"
Then my bad for telling you it wasn't a MLO....
Which doesn't mean it couldn't be, btw. With your level of skills, calculating a few portals, adding room IDs, etc, should be trivial. And then you can get that bedroom mirror working too. :)
@BigShaqNOKetchup "Thank you. am also surprised how fast the people here help one :)"
That's because ppl realize you're probably the best map builders out there! :) Your 3ds tachniques, and what not, may not be perfect yet; but I think it's safe to say ppl realize you're an astounding mapper, miles above the usual crap ppl post.
So, kudos on a job (very) well done!
@YHWHDios @BigShaqNOKetchup YAY! I solved the crash! :) As I suspected, the game indeed crashes because of the 2 faulty incident_lights. I recreated those (with the proper light.map, of course), using an invisi_light prop of my own (which is a viewable, positionable regular prop, with no collision, but with light, but skinned mesh, so it won't show up in a ymap). After I replaced those 2 faulty lights, all is well again!
