@Alex106 I updated it, and will upload when I get home. I should update the clouds mod as well.
@jin007 I got it too. Might be due to my extra vegetation. The map was fine when I load this map using LC (it invalidates and disables the V map when you load the SP map, and loads the V map with the MP map).
When driving to this map, it crashes. I noticed it was triggering the streaming limit as stuff in the V map was appearing/disappearing. You may need to recalculate the extents or move it further away from the V map.
@SkylineGTRFreak Guess I will need to use Menyoo. To be honest, if Rockstar ever adds drivable ships like this into their games, that is closer to how they'd probably work. If it is like Star Citizen's, it probably be a hybrid between a vehicle and an MLO and all the props and vehicles on the ship would be in an isolated physics grid.
Nice work man. Out of curiosity, where can I get those aircraft carriers?
@SkylineGTRFreak You can minimize FPS impact by putting less light sources.
Also when I'd attach objects to the Titanic mod, a LOT of lights were used. Perhaps having all the light sources on one entity is the problem. You could make it a tuning option. Plus that way you can turn the lights on and off.
@SkylineGTRFreak Any chance the interior could get illuminated?
@mkelite That is an issue on your end. When you update your game, you also must update your DLC List.
Perhaps I could make a warning pop up if the dlc is not found since this happens regularly.
@Bob_74 Yeah I see what you mean.
Maybe it could be the iFruit stuff. But I'd try and see how it affects FPS when you use the phone shortcut, and the controller shortcut. Heck it may have something to do with loading custom images. I know ScriptHookDotNet doesn't seem to do a good job when it comes to loading custom images in terms of FPS. It may help to use banners which exist in the game files. But also note that I do not have any banners in my configuration.
@Bob_74 Sweet. I look forward to it.
Thing is, there is not much I can think of that could cause the mod to drop FPS. There are two factors.
-It is using the old laggy Native UI. This affects FPS when the menu is open. Now I did fix that by updating to the new one, but it could still affect FPS when the menu isn't in use.
-Reading from the ini/xml on tick, or writing to a log file on tick. This is a common mistake that some modders do. It will hurt FPS as the hard drive isn't designed to be accessed on tick. Slower bus speeds on the motherboard. RAM should be used instead. But I do think there is a native which tells you if the game is minimized. You may be able to read from the hard drive ONLY ONE TIME it becomes unminimized so you can make changes. I have another mod which slows down Windows after the game has been minimized for some time (Though it helps if I aim the camera down before minimizing).
