I have an older version( Forgot which version maybe 8.0). I modified the ini file. Can I update but only copy the ASI? or do I have to also copy ini file?

All files moved into 1.mods/update/x64/dlcpack/extra_mods/dlc.rpf/x64/textures.rpf
2. DLC added <Item>dlcpacks:/Extra_Mod/</Item>

Works. I'm using latest update. This is great. Takes you straight to game.

Error: Steam does not appear to be installed.
I have non steam version. Will installing steam fix this?
